About Computing Undergraduate Research Symposium 2025

“Data-Driven Approaches to Global Sustainability”

The Computing Undergraduate Research Symposium 2025 (ComURS2025), organized by the Faculty of Computing, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, aims to provide a platform for university undergraduates to showcase their research findings and foster a culture of scholarly engagement among talented students. Building on the success of the inaugural event, ComURS2025 will mark the second Computing Undergraduate Research Symposium of the Faculty. The symposium is scheduled to be held as a one-day hybrid event on the 19th of February 2025, under the theme, “Data-Driven Approaches to Global Sustainability.”

The symposium's goals are to encourage academic excellence, promote networking and collaboration, enhance visibility, and leverage shared resources for the benefit of undergraduates and the wider academic community.
