Technical Program Guidelines
Review Process
The submitted extended abstracts will be subjected to a double-blind review by a panel of experts in the relevant fields.
During the desk review process (prior to the formal double-blind review), the following will be checked. Manuscripts having non-compliances, including the following, will be rejected.
Extended abstracts that have more than five (05) pages.
Extended abstracts that do not satisfy the scope of the conference.
Extended abstracts that do not follow proper formatting guidelines.
Extended abstracts that have a plagiarism score above 20%.
Extended abstracts that have an AI score above 30%.
Microsoft CMT is used as the conference management system and Turnitin will be used as the anti-plagiarism tool.
The final decision of acceptance or rejection of the manuscript will be taken by the conference Technical Program Committee based on the review scores and the reviewer’s comments.
Publication Process
If accepted, the authors should adequately address the changes mentioned in the reviewer’s comments and prepare the Camera-Ready Copy accordingly.
Authors need to use the provided template to prepare the camera-ready copy. The editorial team will stay in continuous contact with authors to ensure formatting according to guidelines.
Only the abstract proceedings, not the extended abstracts, will be published in the university e-repository.
No-show authored papers will not be submitted to the Conference Proceedings in the university e-repository.
Selection of the Best Paper
On the day of the Symposium, the decision on the best Abstract of each track will be taken by considering the status/ quality of the abstract and the poster presentations.
