Review Process

• The submitted abstracts will be subjected to a double-blind review by a panel of experts in the relevant fields.
• During the desk review process (prior to the formal double blind review) the scope and the formatting of the abstracts will be checked. Abstracts having non-compliances including the following, will be rejected.
  • Abstracts that include more than 300 words.
  • Abstracts that do not match with the scope of the Symposium.
  • Abstracts that do not follow proper formatting guidelines.
  • Abstracts that are written in poor English.
  • Abstracts that have a plagiarism score above 30%.
• If the abstract is accepted, the authors should do the changes mentioned in the reviewer’s comments and prepare the Camera Ready Copy accordingly.
• The final decision of acceptance/ rejection/ acceptance with changes will be notified to the authors.
• Nominated abstracts for each track will be shortlisted based on the review score.
• Best abstract criteria: On the day of the Symposium, the decision on the best Abstract of each track will be taken by considering the status/ quality of the abstract and the poster presentations.
