Paper Preparation

• Authors should submit the abstracts for Poster Presentation to the symposium under one of the following tracks according to the guidelines given.
  • Information Systems
  • Software Engineering
  • Data Science
  • Open Track
• Authors should submit their extended abstracts through CMT (if you are a first-time user of CMT, create an account using your official email address). But Abstract proceedings will be published in the university e-repository.
• Poster presentations will be held in parallel sessions corresponding to the tracks of the symposium.
• Authors should report original research. Manuscripts based on previously published work or currently submitted for any other publication will not be accepted.
• Authors should use the provided Extended Abstract Template.
• The first page is for Title, Abstract and Keywords set to size B5.
• The maximum length of extended abstracts is limited to one (01) B5 & four (04) A4 pages (Maximum 2000 words and minimum 1200 words) in the given conference format.
• Since the review process is double-blind (neither the author nor the reviewers are aware of each other’s identity), authors are requested,
  • NOT to include author information (name, affiliation, email), acknowledgments, or funding details related to the research
  • To INCLUDE authors’ previous work should be referred as 3rd persons’ works.
• During the desk review process (prior to the formal double-blind review), the following will be checked. Manuscripts having non-compliances, including the following, will be rejected.
  • Extended abstracts that have more than five (05) pages.
  • Extended abstracts that do not satisfy the scope of the conference.
  • Extended abstracts that do not follow proper formatting guidelines.
  • Extended abstracts that have a plagiarism score above 20%.
  • Extended abstracts that have an AI score above 30%.
• Submission of concept and review papers will not be considered.
• AI usage disclosure statement is required. Authors must disclose the use of generative AI in their manuscript. This helps ensure transparency and trust with readers, reviewers, and editors. Include the following in the statement
  • State the name of the AI tool(s) used (e.g., “ChatGPT-4”, “DALL-E 3”).
  • Explain the purpose of the AI’s use (e.g., “to improve readability and language” or “for drafting the initial introduction")
• Authors should get the prior clearance/approvals from the respective organizations when there is a need for an ethical clearance for the content of the manuscript.
• If accepted, only the abstract proceedings, not the extended abstracts, will be published in the university e-repository.

Paper Submission

• All paper submissions are through CMT. If you are a first-time user of CMT, create an account using your official student email.
• Authors must provide complete author information at the time of submission. Adding new authors will not be permitted after the review process.
• Authors should select the most appropriate track for their submission. However, the Editorial Board reserves the right to reassign the submission to a more relevant track if necessary.
• Manuscripts submission should be in both Microsoft Word and PDF document only in the given format.
• Authors must also submit the duly completed Author Declaration Form along with extended Abstract.
• Authors can submit a maximum of one (01) supplementary file in PDF format.

Camera Ready Copy Submission

• If the abstract is accepted, the authors should submit the Camera-Ready Copy by addressing the comments of the reviewers.
• Add the author details to the Camera- Ready Extended Abstract
• If the abstract is accepted, the authors should submit the Camera-Ready Copy by addressing the comments of the reviewers.
• The Camera-Ready Copy (revised abstract) must be formatted according to the author guidelines. Authors must use the provided Camera-Ready Extended-Abstract Template.
• It is essential to submit a Review Comments Addressing Form that outlines how each reviewer comment was addressed as a supplementary document.
• Please note that if the review comments are not adequately addressed, or if the abstract is not formatted according to the author guidelines, the symposium organizers will reject the paper.
• If the Camera-Ready Copy is not submitted on or before the deadline, the abstract will be considered as withdrawn.
• Submission of all required documents is mandatory for the abstract to be presented at the symposium.

Registration

• At least one Author from each accepted abstract should register online.
• Authors/ Co-Authors should provide Proof of Studentship (Scanned Copy of Student ID or other evidence) in registration.

Poster Preparation and Presentation

• After being registered as an author, authors will be notified the date, time, venue on which you have to present the poster presentation.
• Authors should prepare the posters referring to the Poster Presentation Template.
• The author should submit the poster through the registration form.
• At least one of the authors should be present for the poster presentation at the Symposium.
• The author should be prepared for 5 minute presentation and should come with a printed poster.
• Posters standard size is 75*90cm.
• The poster presentations will be evaluated by a panel of experts.
